Getting Past Pretty...

I’ve been divorced for a while now and am in my mid 30’s. I consider myself attractive and workout to maintain a nice figure. I am a woman who believes in loyalty, being supportive and love. The men I seem to attract and go out on dates with seem to be caught up only in my appearance. I’m not interested in men that simply want a trophy wife. While I like a man to appreciate my efforts to look good, I want a man who will love and appreciate me even after my beauty fades.

Hey Beautiful! Have you taken a deep look into the kind of man you are accepting dates from? Are you just as guilty of not looking past the surface when it comes to who you’re swiping left (or right) for? If a pattern has emerged as to the type of man you’re going out with, maybe switch it up a bit and try something or someone new.

It appears you have your head on straight. You recognize appearances may get first glances, but connections based on respect and similarities in values are what prove to be lasting. Your challenge will be to not discount the men who make that first move based, in your opinion, on your looks. Give the guys more credit than that. Some could be seeing the beautiful person you are inside.
